Professor Pascale Chapdelaine, Director of LTEC Lab

We are pleased to announce that as of January 2023, Professor Pascale Chapdelaine will be the New Director of LTEC Lab. We thank Professor Wissam Aoun for his leadership as Chair of LTEC Lab in the last three years, notably for bringing together emerging scholars through a dedicated seminar series "Transnational IP Law & Innovation" and for designing and leading the "Claiming Inventions: Philosophies, Principles and Practices" certificate program. We are delighted that LTEC Lab is once again hosting in-person events, and to provide opportunities for our community to come together and exchange on pressing issues in law, technology and society. Meet the LTEC Lab team here.

Stay tuned for our Book Launch celebrating the release of For the Encouragement of Learning by Windsor Law's own Professor Myra Tawfik! This work addresses the contested history of copyright law in Canada, where the economic and reputational interests of authors and the commercial interests of publishers often conflict with the public interest in access to knowledge.
