Community Outreach
At Windsor Law we are firmly committed to providing programs and services to the community, whether this be to the campus community, the Windsor-Essex community or the global community that we reach through the LTEC Lab portal.
EPIC LAW LUNCH AND LEARN SERIES
Through the EPIC Law Lunch and Learn Series, we provide educational seminars and workshops on practical aspects of IP to the entrepreneurial community in Windsor-Essex. We continue to develop our outreach offerings, including increasing the availability of experiential learning opportunities for our law students to work directly with the community on issues relating to law and technology.
LTEC LAB SEMINAR SERIES
The LTEC Lab Seminar Series as well as the various conferences, symposiums and workshops organized by LTEC Lab allow guest speakers to present their research on a broad range of IP, technology, law, and society issues. Previous topics include automated vehicles, tort law and accessibility issues, Intellectual Property and the Right to Repair, Media and Communication Theory and the Regulation of Digital platforms, e-commerce and the extraction of personal data, and issues of equity and representation in patent prosecution.
