The IPIC Emerging Leaders Committee is hosting a webinar on careers in Intellectual Property. The session will start with an introduction to IPIC, followed by a brief overview of the various types of IP. The main event will feature a fireside chat, where presenters will share insights about their career journeys. This interactive discussion will include a Q&A session, allowing attendees to engage directly with the speakers.

Jahdiel Larraguibel


Jahdiel Larraguibel is a lawyer at Fineberg Ramamoorthy LLP, specializing in complex patent litigation with a focus on pharmaceutical patent disputes under the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations. Jahdiel earned his Juris Doctor from the Faculty of Law at Western University with a specialization in Intellectual Property, Information and Technology.


Ahmed Elmallah


Ahmed Elmallah is a lawyer, patent agent, and trademark agent at Bennett Jones LLP, assisting clients in securing patent protection across Canada, the United States, and internationally. He provides strategic advice on developing, monetizing, and enforcing patent portfolios. Ahmed graduated from law at Queen's University on the Dean's Honours List.


Bushra Amir Ali


Bushra Amir Ali is a lawyer at Shift Law, where she focuses on intellectual property-related agreements, trademark prosecution, and IP strategy development. Bushra graduated from Western University’s Faculty of Law where she obtained an Area of Concentration in Intellectual Property and Information Technology.


Anna Maria Decia-Gualtieri


Anna Maria Decia-Gualtieri, Career Services Director at Windsor Law will be participating and providing important information about the support offered by her team for Windsor Law student applicants for IP law related work opportunities.
