In May 2020, Professor Wissam Aoun is launching a 4-day intensive learning experience. The certificate course is free (approximately $2000 value) courtesy of generous funding from Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED).
The course will explore many essential topics of patent practice including: inventor interviewing, searching, reporting, drafting, and prosecution.

Wissam Aoun is is an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Windsor and Director of the International Intellectual Property Law Clinic, a collaboration between Windsor Law and University of Detroit Mercy Law. His area of expertise is intellectual property law including patents, trademarks, copyright and commercialization of technology.
